Our speciality is web design and we use the latest technologies and styles to craft custom, compelling sites to strenghten your product or brand. Our designers have been producing web sites for over 10 years (since the dawn of the world wide web actually), so you can rest assured that your site is in experienced hands.

We absolutely DO NOT use templates of any kind. Each website is a bespoke, hand crafted project that is completely unique.

Step 1 - Site Specification

The first and most important step is to sit down with you to decide on a plan of action.

• What is the purpose of your website?
• Who is the target market?
• Do you have corporate colours you need to include?
• Do you already have photographs/artwork and text material that you want to use or do you need us to write the copy and take photographs?

Don't worry, we will use our experience to guide your decisions to ensure you end up with a great site.

Step 2 - Design Mockups

Based on the specification we will produce up to 3 mockup designs for you to review by logging in to our private client area. This is where we agree on the basic layout and style of your site. Just decide which design you prefer and we will begin the work of turning this mockup into a working site.

Step 3 - Site Preview

Once we have the key pages completed we will upload these to your client area for you to review. This will be your first chance to navigate through your site for real. We take this time to get valuable feedback from you and we will tweak the design based on these discussions while we complete the remaining pages.

Step 4 - Final Approval

Once your website is completed you will be able to login to your private client area to give us final approval at which point we will upload your site to your web space. Voila! Your site is now live on the Internet!

Here is a brief description of some of the technology we use to produce your site.

Cascading Style Sheets

CSS seperates the content of your page from the layout instructions. Designing a web site in this manner makes it more accessible, very search engine friendly and it's easy to change the entire look of your site in future.

Flash

Flash is a technology that adds animation and a high level of interaction to web sites. It gives that "wow!" factor and while some designers produce entire websites from Flash we only use it sparingly as it isn't supported by all devices and it can be slow to load. It's also not search engine friendly so less is more!

Javascript

Javascript is used to add basic interactivity to web sites, like buttons that change when you move your mouse pointer over them. Unlike Flash javascript doesn't slow down the loading of your site. The drop down navigation menus on this site are powered by Javascript.

PHP & MySQL

PHP is a programming langauge that is often used to let web pages make use of information held in a database. Message boards, online tracking services and e-commerce sites all make use of databases. MySQL is a popular database system that is often used in conjunction with PHP. The private client area of this site is powered by PHP and MySQL.
